Our Curriculum

At Al-Ridha, our academic curriculum is rooted in the Ontario Ministry of Education’s standards, ensuring that students receive a robust and comprehensive education from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 1, with plans to offer classes from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. We are a registered private school with the Ontario Ministry of Education, and our faculty consists of dedicated educators, including homeroom teachers with Ontario teaching certifications or their equivalent

Our curriculum is carefully designed to foster a love for learning while promoting academic excellence, our core subjects being Language, Mathematics, Science & Technology, Social Studies, the Arts, and Health & Physical Education according to the Ontario Ministry of Education’s standards.

In addition to core subjects, we integrate Islamic values throughout our programs, enriching students’ educational experience and supporting their personal and moral growth. The religious components of the curriculum include Quranic Studies, Islamic Ethics, and Fiqh (Jurisprudence) Studies, guided by specialists in Islamic Studies and Quranic instruction.

We aim to cultivate students’ academic proficiency while also focusing on identity development, helping them understand and appreciate their values within various contexts. This balanced approach allows students to thrive academically and personally, navigating their educational journey with a strong foundation rooted in both academic knowledge and Islamic teachings.
